Introducing: Cal MediConnecToons

DHCS is proud to present: Cal MediConnecToons! The Cal MediConnecToons are a series of animated videos that cover Cal MediConnect for beneficiaries, their families, their providers, and other stakeholders. The videos describe the program, the enrollment process and choices available under the CCI, continuity of care, and beneficiary rights. Cal MediConnecToons are available in English, English with closed captioning, Spanish, and Spanish with closed captioning. (All four versions are available on one DVD.)

Please join us in our effort to distribute the Cal MediConnecToons far and wide! Below are suggestions about how help spread the Cal MediConnecToons.

• Send to anyone you know who needs to know about Cal MediConnect or works with someone that needs the information.
• Send to physicians and their staff, hospitals and their staff, medical groups, IPAs, and any other providers you work with that also work with eligible beneficiaries.
• Send to providers and agencies that have a lobby with video programming who might wish to play the Cal MediConnecToons for people waiting for services.
• Send to agencies that serve seniors and people with disabilities.
• Send to social workers, caseworkers, eligibility workers, and other front line professionals.
• Send to anyone that has a website visited by CCI beneficiaries, relevant professionals, and other stakeholders the Cal MediConnecToons can be posted to.
• Ask us if you need a different format for the videos to be compatible with your website.
