Please join the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) for the March 2015 Coordinated Care Initiative (CCI) stakeholder call. Our ongoing dialogue with CCI stakeholders is of the utmost importance, and we look forward to continuing our work together to improve health care for Californians. We’ve scheduled the next monthly stakeholder update call for March 25, 2015.
The upcoming call will cover the March CCI enrollment update. Meeting materials will be posted prior to the call and can be found here. We’re also hoping to hear questions and feedback from stakeholders on how implementation of the CCI is going in their local counties.

When will passive enrolment into Cal MediConnect stop in Los Angeles County? Thank you for your time and allowing me to post my opinions.
I have a 32-year old patient who has lived in a nursing home for 10 years. He needs constant attention from his doctors whom he has trusted for years. He filled out the paperwork necessary to opt out of Cal MediConnect and sent it in almost two months ago. Today, as it is April first and his birthday is in April, he found out he was wrongfully placed into an HMO (on the Medicare side) against his will by The State. He will now have to opt out again, which is not exactly easy. Explain to me how this is not illegal and unethical?
